An exciting class teacher opportunity has arisen within The Oak Partnership Trust.
West Monkton Primary School are looking for a confident and resilient practitioner who would be willing to work with colleagues, children and parents within the school’s KS1 provision.
The post is for a fixed-term (until Aug 31st 2024) in the first instance but this may be extended dependent upon funding. Please arrange to speak to Helen Newstead - Headteacher (c/o West Monkton Primary School: 01823 412582 for an informal conversation/arrange a school tour).

Full-time
Selworthy School is a special school for learners age from 4 – 19 with Complex/Severe Learning Difficulties, Oakhill Campus is for learners aged 4-11 and Hazelbrook Campus is for learners 11-19.
Applications are welcome from committed Qualified teachers with a flexible approach, a talent for thinking outside the box and an absolute passion for ensuring the best outcomes for all. Experience of working with a range of needs and supporting behaviour management is desirable however experience of working in a special school is not essential as a structured programme of support and development will be provided.
We would love to hear from you if you are confident, resilient, have excellent communication skills and share our passion for creating the best possible opportunities for our learners.
The successful candidate will manage a team of Teaching Assistants and take responsibility for a subject area of the curriculum. The post will attract SEN1 or SEN2 according to experience and qualification.
